Members Rob Housewright Posted April 24, 2012 Members Posted April 24, 2012 Heading to Beaver this weekend for a guided striper trip. This is a birthday present for my grandpas 80th birthday. Will the FLW crowd have the stipers goofed up?
Stump bumper Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Yes, when those guys move with a camera boat they don't care. Also they will run the shad down deep and if/when you get on some good top water someone chasing 100 grand cares less about your fishing trip and will run right though them. I don't go near the lake when the "Pros" are running around anymore.JMHO I hope you have a guide that knows how to chase deep fish.
Members Rob Housewright Posted April 24, 2012 Author Members Posted April 24, 2012 That's what I was afraid of. We will enjoy some family time on a beautiful lake anyhow.
Members Rob Housewright Posted May 2, 2012 Author Members Posted May 2, 2012 Fishing was tough, but what a beautiful lake. Consider your self fortunate to call that area home.
jeb Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Oh, I do. I never tire of fishing on Beaver, or living so close to it. Extremely scenic. That's most of the reason I moved to Arkansas 6 years ago. Beautiful country here in the Ozark Mts. Sorry to hear the fishing was tough, though. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
