Members ScottBRay Posted April 25, 2012 Members Posted April 25, 2012 Help been fishing there for the last couple weeks had some luck but not great I'm taking the little woman tomorrow and really want catch some fish any tips on where to go and what to use will be much appreciated.

If you're fishing for black bass, I have had a ton of luck using plastics around the cove by Cedar Ridge and the Masters area in about ten feet of water. Just position your boat parallel to the shore and find the pattern for the day. If you're fishing for crappie, there's an MDC brush pile in the cove by Cedar Ridge also, marked by a Green sign from the MDC that's up on the bank. I've been catching crappie using jigs down around the bottom. There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
