Barron Fork Creek

Hey Brian,

What can you tell us about the Barron Fork Creek? I saw it on the map looking at the current and did some asking about it, but didn't get much information. I think it's out your direction.

The Barren Fork is a nice little (and I mean little) wild trout stream north of Emmince. I've only fished it a handful of times. You will probably be the only one there. Don't make a trip just to fish it though. Rather make it a side trip while fishing other rivers. The fish are pretty small. 12 inches is a very nice fish there, but 6 inches is more likely. Beautiful fish though. You can only fish a little way before you hit private land and a cable telling you not to go any further.

Ok, thanks for that Brian. How far is it from the blue ribbon on the eleven point? Might go check it out the next time I come down to the eleven point. BTW why don't you PM me on a fishing trip. I have a vacation coming up in a couple weeks. Might be a couple of us coming down to see ya.
