Wayne SW/MO Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'm going to hook up with my son an GS this weekend at the mill and we will probably fish downstream. Is the water still a coldwater fishery to Bryant? How is the fishing down there? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Justin Spencer Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Bass are biting down that way right now, had some guys fly fish it the other day, sounded like all kentuckies and largemouth and most in the 10 inch range. There are a few trout, but I wouldn't expect to catch any, the closer to Dawt the better the chance. There are a few stripers and hybrids as well as the occasional walleye, carp, gar and white bass stragglers around that could spice up the day. Evidently it is flowing pretty good as the lake is back down to normal, should have current all the way to 160. Wayne SW/MO Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 Thanks Justin. There is some kind of event they are attending and then it will be fishing, otherwise we would be up your way. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Justin Spencer Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Stop by if you get a chance. Hopefully they have some good live music down there this weekend.
