Hunter91 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Used to live in Sugarland TX and have visited as well as fished around Seawolf Park many times. The submarine was my favorite exhibit also. Is the ship exhibit still next to it? I believe it was a destroyer escort. Nice pics !!!

It's been a long time, but there used to be an quarantine station on Pelican Island, and close to that, on the Ship Channel side, their is a long flat we used to wade for speckle trout, drift live shrimp weightless, and a lot of time they would come to surface running from trout, and it would be like a topwater bite. Spent many a childhood summer days there, and ate a lot of specks. Rod holder
