Members Crappie Catcher Posted May 8, 2012 Members Posted May 8, 2012 Near a brushpile but caught them on jigs and on minnows. Seems like I have the best luck in big coves away from structure .
sandbc Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 when you guys are night fishing for crappie what kind of lights are you using? floating or submurseable. white or green. thinking about giving it a try friday night. anybody been out at night this week? thanks
Nwtf gobbler Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 I've used both types of lights, but the floating lights or a lantern seem to work better for me. Haven't been night fishing yet this year, so 'm kinda waiting on the good tips too.
sandbc Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 yeh i havent been night fishing in years so i am still in the stone ages with the old floater light. just didnt know how good the new sub lights worked. thanks for the reply
Members Crappie Catcher Posted May 10, 2012 Members Posted May 10, 2012 I use both floating and submersible green ones. Two of each at a time I can light up about a 18 foot area
