Shoal Creek Trip 5-5-12

Wow...it has been a while since I posted on this forum...actually, it looks like it has been a while since anyone posted on this forum.

Anway, I floated Cherry Corner on Saturday. For the most part the fishing was pretty slow. Managed to pull in a decent 13 inch smallmouth a smaller largemouth and a nice rock bass. Lots of bites from small fish that just couldn't get the bait in their mouth but not much else.

Anyone else been out and had any success recently?

No success here either. They seem to be holding tight. Six of us floated the other day and only 4 bass, I think, made it in the boats. I got one to the boat but didn't get him in. It was bad.

I keep hoping to go but stuff keeps coming up. will def try to go soon, vacation starts fri 18th - fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong.
