Fishing Report 5/6/12

Three of us put in at 7am at kerr access. We didn't see another person on the water between kerr and galena bridge. We used white rooster tails and rebel crawl and caught 50 to 60 fish. None of the fish had any size to them but one channel cat.

When you say "fish" what are you referring to? White bass? Largemouth? Smallmouth?

D. All of the above. We even caught a channel cat but no whites. I would say half were pan fish. The rest were a mix of small, large and goggles. I wish I would have taken my son because he hasn't had a trip where we have caught a large number of fish. We went white fishing 3 times this spring and never got into them like I have in the past. Thinking about the elk this weekend. Does anyone have an opinion or suggestions on that river?
