Hey Gang,

My brother and I will be at Bennett 8/24-8/28 for our annual vacation. We'll be in CG#4. Hopefully the weather will be like it was last year. Last year it was a great time and this year shouldn't be much different.

Same time as last year Pat. But you made it last year for the weekend. You got plenty of time to get someone to fill in for you. My brother says he has to have someone there that catches less fish than he does. LOL JK. He has picked up the midging method pretty well. I may have to have to put in an order for you to tie up some midges for me if I don't get back home soon enough. I'm in NC right now just about an hour northeast of Charlotte. I'm hoping to be home sometime around the middle of July. I'll bring the Captain and the chocolate beer again.

Yeah Pat I just feel the need to rub a little when I have the chance to. Which isn't often. I just hope you can make it. I'm still bringing the captain though. I like it better than beer. Plus no hangover for me. I should have plenty of time while we hang out in camp to tie up some stuff. My supply is pretty much wiped out so I'll tie up a few dozen of various colors.

Cool, I'm going to be in the same spot in #4 as I always do. Hopefully the fishing is a little better. I mean the water levels anyway. That crystal clear water makes it tough, plus the flow is pretty slow. I need to start tying up some CB's and midges. I have a bunch of other stuff I bought from Blue Fly cafe.

Now if I could just sell that darn Z-Axis.....LOL

I just decided to check on this tread this morning and I'm getting fishing fever. I haven't fished for months. I have the calendar marked when you are going to be there and I might make it down the 27th and 28th Monday and tuesday. I have something that weekend here. Would like to watch you guys catch fish again while I struggle......good times!

Let me know if plans change.

I sure hope we get some rain soon and enough of it so we can have a campfire. It's just not right camping without a campfire.

Almost time!!! 1 week away and we'll be down for 5 days of fishing and relaxation. Hope to even meet a few new people this year. So far it looks pretty dry with the chance for some rain. Maybe they will lift the fire ban and campfires will be allowed. BBq grills are OK I think. I have been out of town before I got home for the last month and I really need some relaxing time on the stream. Work here has been more crazy than it was on the road.

I should be there early Friday morning or maybe even Thursday night if things workout. I just need to pick up a new deep cycle battery for the camper and put it up and air it out. I'm trying to decide if I want an AGM or not and if it is worth the extra $$$. With the way things have been here lately I have not been able to use it much and the battery has taken some abuse in the maintenence dept. .

Can't wait to wet a line and kick back in the CG and have a few drinks. Cheers.
