Members ScottBRay Posted May 14, 2012 Members Posted May 14, 2012 Put in at Ceader Ridge at 7:00 didn't get a bite till 9:00 when we dropped the lights the WOW 2 limits of crappie 20 white bass and a 5 pound channel to 3 pound flatheads ran out of minnows or I mite still be there !!!!!!!
Members Saltydawg Posted May 14, 2012 Members Posted May 14, 2012 Sounds like we were in the wrong place ! Put in at CC about dark. Fished the steep rock back north of Springfield Cove and the rock fence cove, then motored back and fished near the bridge. Caught one white bass about 6 inches long . Not even another nibble. Used a submersible and floating crappie light. Fished with minnows at varying depths. So frustrating!! But a beautiful night to be out nonetheless. We were the only boat out in the CC area.
