Crappie Fishing This Weekend Near The Dam

I am making a trek to Warsaw this weekend for some crappie fishing. Planning on staying at Sterrett Creek and fishing near the dam area. Might try some trolling for whites and hybrids as well.

Any suggestions on where to fish? Colors and lures for whites and hybrids?

When I troll for Wiper, I use the Rapala DT 14 . Silver and black or White and Chartreuse. Caught alot of them on lakes around KC. It is all about the depth and what depth they are holding at. You might also try an umbrela rig. You can also rig the crankbaits with a flourocarbon leader and a swivel and run a jig head with a sassy shad of it it so you have baits at two depths. The DT series crankbaits are a dive to a certain depth. You might get DT 10 14 and even an 18 or 20 depending on what depth you are fishing.
