Members jace Posted June 19, 2012 Members Posted June 19, 2012 6-15-12 Whites were found in the evening surfacing near wind blown banks in the open part of the lake with a little action near Rea bridge. Fishing stayed great until the wind started to die down. Also caught several largemouth mixed in with the whites and one smallmouth that went 19 and 1/2 inches and was probably 4 pounds easily. I was using my normal white bass slabs in the smaller size while the wife used her normal "shad colored" Rapala 6' diving crankbait. She caught the smallmouth, but other than that both baits produced about the same. 6-16-12 Same location, same result until the wind died down earlier than the previous day. Then the white bass scattered and were found by the fishing berm in the open water just past where the trees start and all the way to about the mouth of what I call the party cove.(big cove on the east side of lake in the middle of the ski area) Same lures as the day before as well. Bird Watcher Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Thanks for the report. Love that lake. Anyone catching crappie at night with lights?
