Decided to do my annual float with the wife a little earlier this year due to water conditions. My wife wanted to catch fish and I knew that the fly rod wouldn't be the best bet. So with a bucket and cast net and a few dozen minnows we made our way downstream. We started at Kozy Kamp and floated to the private access below the low water bridge. The fishing was good and the float was perfect.

The last black that I caught hit a black popper harder than any fish that I've ever caught.
