Flatheads From The Bank

need some advice on some bank access that a fat old man can try to catch a big flathead. have the quality tackle to handle one just don't have a boat. thanks

I like to fish the river arms for flathead, take some worms maybe a kid and catch a few bluegill for bait.

walnut springs is a pretty decent spot,

Then a little further down the road there is a bridge just before flat creek resort with a spot you can pull off on the left.

And a few more miles is another bridge you can fish pretty easy just before Bridgeport resort.

thanks fishslayer. have been to flat creek and bridgeport, haven't fished there for flatheads. walnut springs is new to me. looked it up on google earth. great links, thanks. waiting to see if wayne swmo chimes in HE KNOWS EVERYTHING! had to say that, I've fished with wayne a few times

All I would say is flats have been pretty tough lately. It looks like many are on the nest right now. Have been catching some blues yet.
