I'm thinking about doing a small float and fish trip from kerr to JRO early tomorrow. Has anyone fished around there recently? I usually do well in that area but haven't been in a few weeks. If anyone has passed through there recently could you please let me know how you did? Thanks

last I heard you couldnt stretch your arms out to the sides without hitting a drunk on a tube. super crowded on saturdays.

Yup. I won't go on that stretch on a Saturday. Sunday evenings and through the week are tolerable. Starting to look like the Current. Too many people with too much alcohol in that little five mile stretch.

i went a few days ago and the fishing was pretty good, did not take count but the biggest one was a 21 inch smb. the biggest part of my fish were caught on 5" hula grubs pumpkin with purple flake. and senko worms wacky rigged.
