Members Big Bay Outdoors Posted July 8, 2012 Members Posted July 8, 2012 I have a 2 seater canoe and am trying to figure out where to go in the morning. (7-9-12). I have fished both places in the past and am pretty aware of my favorite spots. Does anyone have a report of the past couple of days for either spot? I know the Finely was low last week but since we got a little rain yesterday I figured there might be a small change in the levels. Thanks Big Bay Outdoors "Home of the FREE, because of the BRAVE"
zander Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I was out there yesterday evening (Finley River Park) I didn't notice an increase in the level. There were a lot of kids out swimming by the rope swing and we interrupted one classy lassie relieving herself in the dirt parking lot. I would probably go to Lake Springfield.
Members Big Bay Outdoors Posted July 8, 2012 Author Members Posted July 8, 2012 I think putting in at 65 and heading into the main lake is the way to go but, I the last time I was there I saw a gentleman in a small bass boat and he said the key was grass flats on the main lake in the morning and then move up the river. Maybe hit the railroad area. Always had luck there. Big Bay Outdoors "Home of the FREE, because of the BRAVE"
