Project Healing Waters Event

Project Healing Waters is coming to Reed's Cabins and Montauk on September 28th- 29th 2012. Veterans form MO,AR,TN,KS,OK, will travel to Montauk to take part in this event. The national PBS television show The Tying Bench by NICHE productions will be filming a one hour special to be broadcast on PBS. Also FFF certified casting instructors will be helping with the event. Fly tying will also be a part of the event.

The public is invited to the event and take part in showing these guy's and gal's the appreciation we have for them by helping them out in anyway you can see fit. If you tie flies and want to donate five or six they will be raffled off at the vent, or you just want to come see and talk to the guy's and gal's it would be appreciated by all. This event is not about catching fish it's about fighting back the depression and learning to adapt to an outdoor activity with the disability they have. We are not looking for a hand out or money and everything that is donated goes straight to Project Healing Waters. The Missouri Trout Busters are working with us on this event also.

As with any event of this sort them may be things added as we grow closer to the event and we will keep people posted to any changes.

The folks another wonderful day in the Ozarks. First of all I would like to get some information from who intends to come to the Project Healing Waters Event On September 28-29th. We would like to get a hint of how many people we can expect to have meals at the event. There will be a total of 4 meals at the event. The cost will be $10.00 Per meal Per Person or $30.00 for all 4 meals.

Friday night the 28th will be Hamburgers & Hot Dogs with chips and drinks.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Eggs Sausage, Biscuits Gravy, Bacon, Hash Browns, Pancakes Coffee, This will be a huge meal.

Saturday Dinner will be Fajitas, Pulled Pork, & everything as sides. This will be a huge meal also. After dinner a Happy Hour and Music.

Sunday Another big Breakfast before you leave.

People who just want to stop in and have fellowship with the folks it's free, but meals will be as stated $10.00 each. There will be fly tying demos, Fly casting instruction, Trout Park fishing with special stocking for the event by MDC. 2+2 Fly tournament that will $20.00 to enter with a great prize for the winner.

Every cent made will go to Project Healing Waters. We want this event to be a success where the event can take place annually. Camping with all meals will $60.00 per person for the whole event. So come for a hour or the whole event everyone welcome.
