Wading at RR

Where is wading allowed at RR?

Visiting in a few weeks and want to know if I should bring my waders.

Wading is allowed in the C&R area, this is the area from dry hollow down to the F- hwy bridge. You can also wade a few hundred yards further down untill you get to just above the handicap access dock.

You can also wade all of Zone 3.

Is wading zone 3 something new?

No wading and swimming has been allowed in Zone 3 for over 30 years and I think it has been leagle down there since the dam was blown out in the early 60's.

I was thinking there were signs prohibiting wading in the area of the campgrounds at zone 3? At least a year ago or so.

Zone 3 is below campground 3, where campground 3 is located that is zone 2 and you can't wade there.

OK, I thought 3 started at the bridge.

I do know that the last time I went through, a week ago, there were people swimming there. Of course I've seen more violations at RR the last 2-3 years then anywhere else. I don't know if its a manpower problem or what, but I don't go that often to see what I see.
