Joined the site this morning. I live in Bella Vista and have just started fishing there. I have only been down to Crystal twice this year and both were in the spring. My "crew" (two brothers, wife and I) snatched a bucket full of bream on the south access were the creek feeds in. There is an army of carp in the pools of the stream, assuming there is still a stream. The bass had no problem mocking us from the shore where the stream actually feeds in. There is a great tree standing right in the bay with a good hole that the small mouth love. I only worm and fly fish, if you are wondering what I am getting them to hit with.

It seems that Crystal gets abused pretty badly by day trippers. Lots of human waste littering the banks, ruts and "fire pits" that were used more for bon fires of plastic and aluminum. Hopefully someone will find this lake is just right for them and snatch some big ones. I see a lot of folks canoeing and kayaking more then fishing.
