Bass Fishing

I am fishing Sunday for bass. What would be the best bait to use and where and how deep should I use.

Any information would be appreciated.

I would have to guess.... but I would try shad type crankbaits - - 4-6 foot till sun gets on the water and then 12-20 on steep banks..

Sorry but, I haven't been to stockton since end of June... But from the reports it seems the bass are chasing shad....
