From The Park 8-17

I put in around 6:45 from Ozark park and paddled upstream. I was fishing a zoom l'il critter craw in pumpkinseed and a zoom 4 in finesse worm in green pumkpin. I fished both sides up the river a ways until it got real thin. Only came up with 2 (one on each bait) and neither of them were over 10 inches. The bite was real soft too, barely noticed it. They had no fight in them until they got up to the boat. Still, beautiful night and great temperatures.

im going to hit it real hard tonight after dinner some time. i bet ill catch at least 2 bass, ill post what i catch.

I fished yesterday afternoon for about 3 hours - I caught a couple of decent Green Bass - 2 maybe 2.5 pounders on a white 3/8th Spinnerbait and half a dozen little Smallmouths on my 1/8 ounce finesse jig in Purple/Chartreuse. Smallmouths were under timber near docks - but all were under 12".
