ryan Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I was down at the cabin last weekend and had a blast. Got into whites with jigging spoons in 30-45 ft of water. Look for bait and find the arches underneath them. Bass were biting good on spoons, shaky head, and drop shot. While looking for some whites I graphed a huge school of fish in some flooded timber, thought they were white and dropped the spoon down only to find they were crappie. Caught some really nice ones and worked the school over pretty good. Never got a single eye to the boat! You really need to spend a lot of time looking with your electronics. Schoolers will give away the general position of fish so if you see some action start looking a little deeper with your graph and you will find the mother load! Good luck and god bless.
