So it is my birhtday this weekend and the wife told me I could make any plans I wanted for the weekend and of course I chose to go fishing. I was having an itch to maybe do some trout fishing. Does anyone have an idea of what they might be biting on this time of year or if it would even be worth the trip? I dont eat trout so the catch and release wont be a problem. Any thought would be much appriciated. Thanks!

I went last Saturday and fished for 2-3 hours. Fished below bluffs in zone 2 and caught a dozen or so all on midges. A primrose and pearl was my most successful fly but a ruby midge hooked up with some as well

Black Marabou, Size 18 or 20 midges in different colors will catch something probably. i like black zebra midges, primroe and pearl and olive green.
