Members brian g Posted January 20, 2013 Members Posted January 20, 2013 Question, Does water temp. have anything to do with lure buoyancy? If it does how much. I'm wanting to add weight to some jerkbaits and was thinking of doing it in the hot tub.(big kid bath tub and jerkbaits as toys.) I like to wrap lead wire around hooks. Seems to work better than suspend strips/dots.
ozarkgunner Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 The water needs to be around 40 for most jerkbaits to suspend. Water temp is what controls the density of water. Density affects bouyance. I like a bait to slowly sink however I went to the megabass plus 1 and I don't anything to it now. Angler At Law
