Browns On Jerkbaits

Has anyone had any luck with jerkbaits this year?

Went early last week and didn't have too much luck. A few fish in the low 20's but nothing significant. The best action was up in the state park area mostly, a few fish came from the top riffle at Cane island. Made one float all the way to Cotter but nothing but Rainbows past Cane Island. In all our past years we would catch nice fish all the way down to Cotter. I think the spawn was still going strong so the fish had not migrated down river yet. Who knows though, coulda been just a bad year for us. Had a lot of fun though.
