Crappie Report

This is nothing Josh hasn't been reporting for the past couple of weeks. Went down to the James Sunday and fished/fought the wind, caught 23 keeps and about 12 shorts in 8-15 foot of water on swimming minnows. No whites, did catch a few small bass and a turtle. One thing I love about the James is that you almost always accidentally catch something strange. I've snagged gar, carp, spoonbill, turtles....caught catfish on rooster tails.. wierd stuff like that. It was a windy day, but a good one...

I was also on the water but i was in the flat creek arm me and a buddy ended up with 24 keepers a bunch of short I must say it was a tough day for me considering I get on the water at 7 in the morning and have been limiting out by 10 30 or 11 but it took us all day to catch what we did I just couldn't get on one school like I have been they were really scattered yesterday but they were in the same depth range they have been. good luck and hope you all stay safe on the water
