Weather Improving

Looks like a nice weekend next weekend. Planning on a trip to the river. Has anyone been catching anything lately? Looks like river levels are much improved.

Been catching smallies pretty well and a few nice trout, but not huge numbers. Have not fished the lower river where you tend to fish the most. Stocking down there should start in April some time, but I am sure there some to catch. Talked to a john boater at Whitten the other day that caught a few. Marabou jigs, golden stones, and Don's crawdad have been what I have had success with lately. Fish deep.
