WakenLake Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Apparently people were having a tough time out on the lake from what I heard from the boats coming in. To my luck we found a good bank with shad rolling over on top of the water and guess who was chasing them...caugh them on a jig and bobber in 5 feet of water. Color didnt matter. Ive been reading these reports kind of getting programmed to thinking they were deep but went against my instincts and FINALLY got on some crappie. You could catch three or four and move down the bank and catch more so long as there were bushes and shad. (seemed like they were staging to spawn waiting for the water to warm) Im thinking Pomme will be my home lake this year. I fished LOZ the day before ALL DAY without a bite. Stockton hasnt been much better. www.jordanvalleyautorepair.com
