MSUFisherBear Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I am thinking about dragging the Yak up from the park in Ozark and doing a little fishing. Any news or reports on how the fishing is on this area? There is certainly something in angling that tends to produce a serenity of the mind. ~Washington Irving
RSBreth Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Lots of people in the park on the weekends (all the play 'Yakkers) but not many fishing - still it screws up the fishing from them constantly paddling all over where you're trying to fish.
ozarkgunner Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Slow still from what I hear. Water is close. Angler At Law

That's the exact same problem that I have ran into on Springfield. I know everyone has spring fever like I, but why can't they paddle somewhere where the fish are not. Exactly, I was down there awhile back and some jerks were paddling right over my line and snagged it a few times with their lines. So, not only did they scare the fish off but were interfering pretty heavily with my line.
