Whites On The Finley?

Is there any white bass on the finley and if so where? At the park in ozark people are throwing their dead white bass in the water.... so im wondering if people are catching them in that area or just throwing them in that water after they took off all the meat?

The white bass can't make it to the park in Ozark. There is Riverdale dam in there way several miles downstream. Even in the best of high water years I've never seen or caught white bass there. I have caught yearling whites below Riverdale and below the dam on the James River, but never any that migrated upstream that far. You're just seeing someones scraps they are throwing out.

What kind of fish are you more likely to catch at the park in Ozark? I've fished it a few times but never caught anything. Also, are there nice catfish in there? Thanks in advance.

Big bass crappies sunfish and there are some really big cats.
