Members fisheye Posted April 19, 2013 Members Posted April 19, 2013 All, Eagle Fork Campground outside of Montauk is closed for good ( or till a buyer is found.) My buddy camped there last night and the owner came and told him that there is no more camping allowed. The owners are moving to Arizona. Eagle Fork is still for sale.

Guest Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 CRAP!! We have our annual Current River trip coming up in a few weeks and we always stay at Eagle Park. Does anyone else know if Ozark Mountain Ranch is still open for camping? We'd like to avoid staying in the park if possible. Any other alternatives? Thanks.

Idylwilde Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Pinecrest Campground is the only campground East Of Montauk Now. Ozark Mountain and Eagle Park have both closed theirs. If in camper there is Happy Pappy's Right near the park entrance. Take a Child Fishing they are the future of the sport.

This is looking like our best option besides staying in the park, which isn't what we wanna do! Appreciate all the info guys. Our big spring time Current trip is in a couple weeks and trying to get the logistics lined out since Eagles Park closed. Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
