Members hoover25 Posted November 17, 2006 Members Posted November 17, 2006 Just a short report: I guess that everyone wimped out because I had the whole lake to myself from 10:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. last night. Caught about 2 dozen assorted sizes or so.....one maybe was a keeper. I did get two 18"-20" female browns....one was still spewing eggs and the other seemed to be done. The #13 jointed rapala seemed to do the trick, but imagine that they would have hit most anything on the topwater. I must say that it was almost spooky out there though. Although there were no humans, I was definately not alone. I must have seen a bazillion other "critters" milling about during the course of the night.
Leonard Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Isnt it great to have the water to yourself... great report... http://www.taneycomonights.com
Terry Beeson Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Yep... those critters can be pretty spooky... Did you get splashed by any beavers? Did you have to check your "drawers" after a heron snuck up behind you and let out a big "SQUAAAAAAAWWWWWKKKKK!!!!" Between the beavers, fox, armadillos, bobcats, deer, herons, coons, giant man-eating Taneycomo squid, and the Leonards, you have a lot to fear... Good report...
