Fished today around the dam from about 8 to 3. Lots of boats - several tournaments going on. Steady rain most of the time we were on the water. Water temps right around 54.

We caught 8 keepers - all fairly skinny - all between 14.5" and 16.5". Just about all of them were right on or close to secondary points. Most were right on the edge of the brush though we did catch a couple just in front of the bushes. 4 keepers on a jig, 1 on a tube, 1 on a beaver, 2 on a c-rig. The jig fish all it on the fall, the texas rig fish when it was being drug on the bottom.

Saw a lot of boats throwing spinnerbaits, couple c-rigging. Curious to here what the tournament results were (ABA, Joe Bass on Saturday, AIA on Sunday).

I don't ask bc they won't tell. We caught our fish deep on a jig near the dam,12'-20' fow. I know some fish were caught carolina rigging on main lake and secondary points. The water is very dirty up the rivers with a ridiculous amount of debri. We started out around the 83 marina and water was 54 degrees with about 6-8" of visibility. When the sun came out around 11 the water warmed very fast. We took out at 3:00 and the surface was 58-59 degrees. It was reported that after the sun came out the bigger sacks of fish were caught flipping shallow bushes but who knows.
