Jeff Olson Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I am having a sale this Saturday, may 4th, from 9 am to 5 pm. 530 dale ave. Hollister, mo. about 1 mile south of table rock dam off 165. very nice plants at about half the price of the big stores. starting at $1.00 . tomatoes - I have big beef, beef master, bush goliath, cherry, roma, early girl, mountain fresh, mr. strippy . bell peppers, cabbage and bush cucumbers. in 4 inch-6 inch & in patio pots. also have some flowers- hanging baskets, giant pansies, zinnias, 4 o" clocks, vinca .
blue79 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 You will probably sell out if everyone planted like i did.I had started giant belgiums from seed and they were 2 1/2 feet tall and big fat stems Last weekend it was 80 degrees and the 10 day forecast said the lows were gonna be 50-55 so i planted everything.Yesterday when i was covering everything i found one yellow flower on one of my mater plants. We have had an est3.4 inches of snow overnight here in Stockton with 1-2 more inches today and todays high is 37.I dont think my maters can take two days covered up.If i start my seeds again today i should be picking maters by the end of aug or early sept.
