Should I Fish Honey Creek Tommorrow?

Im looking at going out to Honey Creek tomorrow in Grove depending on a few things. Maybe someone morefamiliar with Grand can help me out. I have a 12' flat jon with a 5hp that I usually use at Bushwaker Lake up in Nevada MO. I am familiar withthe park but have never been out in a boat there. Will my boat be ok in the that area? I wont be going on the main lake at all, just the small cove north of the park.

My second question is this, I am a largemouth/small mouth man. Will I have any luck in this area or am I wasting my time. I see a lot of docks on the north side I could pitch to and there should be a descent depth change if not any drop offs?

So what are your thoughts? Bushwacker tomorrow, or Honey Creek?
