Members C&R Posted May 16, 2013 Members Posted May 16, 2013 Need help with a good stretch for floating for smallies this weekend. Doesn't have to be on the Buffalo. The Elk and Indian Creek up here in Missouri are a bit fast for optimal smallie floating and fishing. Sure could use help on a good 4-7 mile stretch on the Buffalo. Thanks for helping.
Members DaveMac Posted May 17, 2013 Members Posted May 17, 2013 In my experience you can't go wrong with any stretch, but a particular favorite of mine is Pruitt to Hasty. It's 7 miles, has good scenery and plenty of good spots for fishing. I recommend Buffalo River Canoes as an outfitter - Jesse will set you up with a good float.
bobber Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 right now i would be thinking kyles to erbie or erbie to pruitt. . yes it;s too low but nobody has floated it.. outfitters don't do it?? that means maybe 40 fisherman have hit this season and it's been flood and high water conditions all season......your welcome! <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
