eyeman Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 went to stockton to walleye fish. only ended up inviting home 7 plus 4 big crappie mixed in. ended up dodging rain and windy weather most of the time .
9LB Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Had the same expereince last night. Put in about 6 and was only able to catch 2 small bass, 2 REAL small crappies and the smallest walleye ever caught on a hook and line. I could barely see the fish untll it raised the dorsal fin. Thw water was pretty cloudy and had some pretty nasty film on it. It was calm as can be in the evening. Tried to get things stirred up with a topwater but no luck. Smoke jig was the only thing they seemed to be interested in. Left my crawlers in the truck so did not do any jigging worms or bottom bouncing.
