Just had a couple hours this evening. Put in at hickory. ran to Piney (right cove). caught several keeper spots, and a couple dink blacks. all on weightless senko wacky rig. went to little hickory to finish the evening. lots of shad moving, but couldn't get a top water bite. manage to get a prett little 2.75 black flipping a bush.

Nothing exciting, just wanted to share.

I was really surprised, actually - it was what Ibcall "Hickory Green" - clean, but a little stain to it. we ran actoss a weird mudline about 40 feet wide righy before we turned into Piney. looked like that sandbar on yhe rigjt was washing away a little

At least you got out on the water and caught some fish.

That's exciting enough to me. Wish I had gone.
