jolicious Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Just had a couple hours this evening. Put in at hickory. ran to Piney (right cove). caught several keeper spots, and a couple dink blacks. all on weightless senko wacky rig. went to little hickory to finish the evening. lots of shad moving, but couldn't get a top water bite. manage to get a prett little 2.75 black flipping a bush. Nothing exciting, just wanted to share.
Guest Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 How was the water? chocolate milk, tea color, or green?
jolicious Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 I was really surprised, actually - it was what Ibcall "Hickory Green" - clean, but a little stain to it. we ran actoss a weird mudline about 40 feet wide righy before we turned into Piney. looked like that sandbar on yhe rigjt was washing away a little
J-Doc Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 At least you got out on the water and caught some fish. That's exciting enough to me. Wish I had gone. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
