Bill Anderson Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I drove down to the dam today with my daughter just to enjoy the weather and get out of the house. Both generators were going full blast, and with Table Rock Lake backed up, it looks like it's boat fishing only for a while. Of course, I don't have a boat. I sure will be glad when they get Table Rock down a few feet and I can wade Beaver again. But at least it's not as high as we've seen it in the past few years, barring any more torrential rain. So let's hope the hard rains will hold off for a while. I have a friend, a Jewish carpenter, whom you should get to know. If you do, your life will never be the same.
Members Flyfsh Posted June 11, 2013 Members Posted June 11, 2013 It is still wadeable in several areas. No boat required. We just had the One fly for cancer tourney last weekend. And all were wade fishermen. Get a canoe or kayak from one of the resort and go fishing. Jim

Bass fishing? Trout? Walleye? Im planning on heading up there tomorrow from Rogers. Any info would be much appreciated!! Thanks

TROUT , we start off below houseman, and drift left bank. looking down stream (river left) to the downed trees. and then run back up stream and repeat until we limit out.. but be warned fishing just before dark the fog is so thick you can't see the bank. we boat up there, to it. and fish back to Beaver town. so down stream the fog is thinner, then it's gone . <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*

No problem! We usually bass and walleye fish up there. Caught some Sunday a little bit further down river closer to the Beaver bridge. And yeah, I know what your talking about with that fog. Got caught in it one night last summer...Even with lights on the boat, it's a pretty uncomfortable feeling going through that thick fog with no idea whats in front of you.

There's walleye year-round, in this tailwater? How far below the dam and focused where? I've been wanting to catch a walleye on the fly for a while now...
