riverfish Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 i bought the lake fork tackle spoons and have pretty good success with them jason i got mine from bass tackle depot i think i paid about seven bucks or so about the same as a descent crankbait i use the five inch spoons on the drops and ledges when they push out deeper. i think they weigh about 1.25oz and to tell you the truth i have only lost one spoon of the five i bought two years ago they are heavy enough that if you just shake the crap out of them most time they come right undone, also a downside with flying fish though. oh yeah i use the five inch version in crome
merc1997 Bo Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 flutter spoons will work. as far as results comparing to using a jigging spoon casting against a flutter spoon, it is one of those that the bass have to tell you for that particular day. i have had great success casting either type. usually one will out produce the other depending on the day. bo
