Members Wassup Posted June 14, 2013 Members Posted June 14, 2013 Hello Everyone; Just signed up and want to say high to anyone browsing these waters. I have fished the 'Rock' since about 1958 and still get the boot sometimes by Mr. Bass. LOL Although i usually don't come away without catching something its just that sometimes i don't catch exactly what i am trying for. I still enjoy myself very much or i wouldn't still get out there and fling every lure in my tackle box. Its still a beautiful lake if you can keep the 'YAHCTS' from washing you up on the shore, just had to throw that in, enough said. Caught a lot of crappie this spring, nice size also, even though i don't count myself as a crappie expert. Just go after them when they seem to be easy targets, then leave them alone for the rest of the year and just pester the bass. Anyone wanting to buddy up for a days fishing, part of a day fishing, etc., just let me hear from you and i'll see what i can do to schedule something in. My boats in the shop right now but will be out soon i hope. Needed a little motor work, not sure exactly what its going to take, leave that up to the mechanic. I'll stop here right now and wait for some response, if any. Usually don't get on the computer but about twice a day so give me a little time please. Frank
Members Wassup Posted August 13, 2013 Author Members Posted August 13, 2013 Hi Bluegill; How about all the water flowing into the lakes? Its gonna take a while for things to straighten up after the water goes down to 'normal'. Have you been catching any of the Bluegill? I kinda like going down and taking my light tackle and catching some Perch, Bluegill, etc., they're really fun to catch and ounce for ounce fight as hard or harder than anything. Haven't been able to post much for a while, still working on the used boat that i bought, trying to bring it up to general safety standards and fishability. Later; Wassup
