countryred Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 My wife and I are heading down to Mountain View this weekend to work on our new property and do a little shore fishing around the Buck Hollow and Bluff View areas. Not taking alot of equipment, spinning poles loaded with 8 lb. floro for shakey heads, drop shoting and texas rigs. I am guessing that the smallies have already spawned and staying near the deep holes.
KCRIVERRAT Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Floated and camped from Blue Spring to Bay Creek the 9th thru the 12th. Fishing was pretty good.. biggest was 17". I'll post a report with pics once my buddy gets the pics he took. Lost me a pig at Bee Bluff. Crappy "Arkie" stand-up jigs. Can't stand'em but laziness prevented me from acquiring Chomper stand-ups. countryred Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 I caught a few smaller smallmouths and some goggle eyes on texas rigged 4" power worms, green pumpkin. There were a ton of canoes floating down from Buck hollow. Tried sight fishing some nice fish only to find out they were red horses!
