Members hoytman Posted June 17, 2013 Members Posted June 17, 2013 Thanks again everyone for the advice earlier on floating the eleven point for our first time. Our plan is to cut the distance and float Greer to Riverton from Friday morning through Sunday morning/afternoon. In regards to the White Ribbon area, besides trout, is it worth chasing smallmouth in this are at all? Knowing it's more of a trout area, I was curious what the over all smallmouth action is like before Riverton. Thanks.
Brian Sloss Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 If you fish for smallmouth on that stretch, you will probably catch some, but no as many as you would above Greer spring. The closer you get to Riverton the better the smallmouth, but regardless, you will probably catch more trout. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
