Taking a friend out on Sunday morning. Neither of us have been on Stockton before. Usually fish Truman and Pomme... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance and hope everyone has a good holiday!

I haven't exactly been filling the boat lately but I did go a few days ago and we caught several on a variety of baits. Jigs with Craws, sub surface lures, topwater stuff. They seem to be scattered still on the creek arms. We did notice fish surfacing towards evening. My best guess for this weekend with all the water sportsters would be to go at night. Fish with Jigs and Craws or Worms, use scent.

Thank you for the info. Yeah thats the one thing i'm not looking forward to is all the traffic that'll be on the lake this weekend.

...always have a 6" pink worm on one rod...no weight...

A strike indicator is just a bobber...

I've been trying for bass a lot lately and it's definitely a lot tougher than last summer. Always seem to have a little luck with grubs on drop offs and steep chunk rock. Cranking with shad colored cranks always seems to pick up a few as well. It takes a lot of work to catch many right now.. At least for me. Goodluck to ya

Back in coves with creeks in the am they are chasing shad if you do not see them breaking water go to the next cove throw topwated spinner or minnow baits at the swirls and hang on !

Did not fish coves with creeks but instead flooded points and cuts. Fished at night and found fish from 1 foot to about 20 foot. Worms and Jig /Craws worked well. Used Craw Scent on everything. Bite was good but not fantastic. Caught them steadily for "some" hours. Key was to drag more and hop less.
