lmt out Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Anyone catching any walleye, wife and I are coming down Tuesday eve. Last year we tore them up this same week, I know it has been a different year. Just wondering if anyone is doing any good, last year it was jig and crawlers 18 to 25'.
minnowhooker Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I went last Thursday and caught them off points 18' to 20' on slow death rigs. It's been hit and miss for me the time before that all I caught was shorts, bass, drum. I would say the depths you are targeting will get you some......good luck.
9LB Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 buddy of mine has had some luck trolling, I have been bass fishing myself. Fast retrieve on the crank baits, as fast as you can reel them. Depths should be right do not be afraid to go deeper.
lmt out Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 Thanks guys, getting the truck loaded here in a few minutes when the wife gets home from work were off and running. Will make a report tomorrow.

lmt out Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Fished a couple hours on tue. eve we had 2 keepers jig and crawler 20' deep. Today fished about 6 hours had 3 keepers and 7 shorts on harnesses 16' deep. Lost our best fish at the boat maybe a 17 or 18" er. All in all a good trip caught a few and got to spend some time in the boat with my sweety.
