Members Tommy Neil Posted August 24, 2013 Members Posted August 24, 2013 I stopped and fished a little last week in Hickory Creek by the low water bridge. After 10 minutes or so I caught one small trout. The hook was deep so I cut the line and turned him loose. Another 10 minutes or so I caught another small trout and it was the same one. I cut the line again and released him. I saw no other trout, so if you catch a small trout with two very small hooks in him it was me who turned him loose. I wonder if they will stock the creek before winter?
Buzz Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 No Tommy they won't stock again until Fall. The last stocking was probably around the 4th of July. I missed that one for the first time in about 5 years. Not to be an a$$, but I doubt that fish will survive long enough to be caught again. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Members purefish Posted September 8, 2013 Members Posted September 8, 2013 I caught your fish last weekend. I think he is the only one in that hole. Don't know how he has survived being so eager to bite.
Members Tommy Neil Posted September 11, 2013 Author Members Posted September 11, 2013 Dumb fish he didn't know he was done for with two hooks in him, Hope you kept him to improve the gene pool. He was a eager beaver (trout) for sure,
