Members BassHunter132 Posted September 18, 2013 Members Posted September 18, 2013 Wondering what some good daytime patterns for browns would be. Unfortunately I am limited to wade fishing. Fished Taney a lot up below outlet two and have caught tons of rainbows but I have only caught one brown. Don't know if I need to move lower or try different patterns. Any help would be appreciated.
Micheal Kyle Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Sculpins Sculpins Sculpins My favorite is the Brad Wright Sculpin you can pick them up at Phil's Fish them on a floating line striping it in quick small strips and pause it and do it again. you can pretty much sight fish them to cast just above the fish and swing and strip it in. that is for the day time. For night time I like using a mouse for the big browns fish them on a floating line as well my favorite is a Mercers Lemming Mouse, these can also be purchased at Phil's I tie them for his shop. he might be out not for sure though. Good luck To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
