Anyone Fishin?

Headin down to spend the weekend with a Steffan Bros 3/4 wt. 8 ft'er. Anybody fish this weekend or this week? Gonna b a long wait to leave Thursday night!

not much action on here lately. Maybe nobody's there fishin an we'll have the stream all to ourselves. LOL

That would be like one of those movies where a huge disaster occurs and we would be the only ones left to fish .

I'm planning on heading down myself with a friend who has not fished Bennett for years. I'm wondering about the weather now!! I was planning on heading down early Sat. morn.

I'm wonder if there is any hopper action going on? I was thinking of trying a hopper and a midge dropper.

I would think it would hopper time. I've tied up some beetles I'm gonna throw.

Only 10% cance of rain on Friday, 20% Sat, and 30% Sunday. Doesn't look like it's gonna get down there until the end of the weekend.

According to the Weavers BS report, it sounds like the moss has been trimmed for us.

Fishing was slow except for some of the prime spots, outlet comes to mind.

Moss was cut, but not much was coming down???

Saw some dry fly action up toward Holland, but no hoppers. I doubt that would matter though, there has to be a first one to hit the water.

Crowd was light during the week and you could actually move up and down the stream. Even above Holland, above the Whistle and at the outlet it was possible to get in.

Like hearin there was some dry fly action. I love dry flyin so much I'll throw them even when the fish aren't risin.

On the hopper subject, r u sayin there aren't any grasshoppers down there?
