Members Mango Posted December 5, 2006 Members Posted December 5, 2006 Hey Don I finally recovered by password!! I live in Aurora and fish Roaring River the most. Tayney as much as possiable. My favorite water to date is the Little Red Heber Springs AR. I've been tying since last Christmas. Current calculations considering all the materials I,ve bought indicate that my next fly will be tied at a cost investment of only $15.37. Thats way down from the first fly estimated at $250.00. Don't get me wrong though I can't think of a better way, (well not many anyway) to spend it. I fish all year most every weekend and as much in between as possiable. Still looking for the big one though.
Don Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Welcome Mango, Good place to learn and share your knowledge. Had fun at RR last weekend. Now you can PM Stikrz and see if he'll fish Taney with you this weekend. I'm busy with the kids so I'll wait until Dec 15. Later......Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Gary Lange Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Welcome Mango! There is a tone of Flyfishing information available here plus it seems like a ton of knowlegable Flyfisherman and Tyers. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
LostMyWife Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Welcome to the forum Mango Like Gary said, there is a wealth of info here, not to mention the comic relief. Just watch out for Terry. He gets a little crazy at times. But he is harmless, (sometimes) and a wealth of knowledge. Terry, you owe me $10. Pay or I retract the "wealth of knowledge " part. Yes, I'm That Guy
Terry Beeson Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 My "wealth of knowledge" is only worth about a dime... or less... but inflation, you know.... Welcome to the forum, Mango... (Dano's the one you should watch out for, by the way...) gonefishin Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 My "wealth of knowledge" is only worth about a dime... or less... but inflation, you know.... Welcome to the forum, Mango... I agree with Terry. My advice on the other hand is worth any price. Heh heh J/K Welcome to the board. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
