Catch And Release Opener

As far as I can tell the opening for Catch and Release this year is Nov. 8th. I'm thinking about taking off that day and heading down. November is a great time on the stream. I never keep fish anyway so it's nice to be able to fish the whole stream and not fight large crowds. Anyone else going?

Although I like catch and release too, it no longer in an uncrowded affair. It can be when the weather is rough or the Super Bowl is going on but it has gotten too popular. I still do it but I expect normal size crowds.

That being said,,, I may make it unless I'm out chasing deer.

Yeah, I guess you are right. At least there at not kids under foot and zone 3 gets pretty open much of the time. At least the last time I was there. I think FlyFishMaster and I were the only two down there one afternoon.

Well, looks like I'll be working tommorrow for the opener but I think I will head down Monday the 11th. Veteran Days, baby!!! I deserve the day off since i am a veteran.

Weather man is calling for +20 mph wind for Lebanon area on Friday. Leaves should be cleared out. A lot of leaves have come off this past week. Weather looks great Saturday to Monday. Tired of tying flies ready to fish.
